This seminar is an approved Anger Management Specialist-I Certification training by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). The seminar is open to those with a background in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, education, corrections, law enforcement, pastoral counseling, human resources, and those who need or desire to work with angry and hostile clients. Students in these fields may also be accepted.
Upon completion of the requirements as set forth by the instructor for attendance and participation, this. seminar fulfills ALL the NAMA (1) basic content and (2) supervision requirements for the certification. Once you have completed this seminar you may apply directly for NAMA certification ($125 application fee for CAMS-I, $150 for CAMS-II) Certification benefits include:

Laura Beth Moss, CAMS V, CCIS V, CDVS I is a nationally sought author, teacher, Supervisor and Diplomat for the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). She is the Founder of Growth Central Training and the Co-Director of Growth Central, teaching and training therapists, social workers and counselors to work with court-mandated anger management clients. Laura is a regular presenter at the the NAMA International Annual Conference each year. She has taught and worked alongside Dr. Richard Pfeiffer, President of the National Anger Management Association, since 2012.
She is also a Certified Integrative Life Coach through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. She specializes in helping people navigate their personal narratives as well as integrate and explore complex, emotional states. More recently, she developed and co-authored the Crisis Intervention Certification Handbook. In addition, she has a great passion for personal health and wellness. She is an experienced Vipassana meditator with many years of practice in various yoga modalities and is an L1 certified student instructor in Foundation Training.
Laura grew up in the foothills of North Carolina and moved to New York City after graduating from the esteemed The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Laura's long history as a Broadway, television and film actress brings a uniquely engaging style of teaching and presentation that deeply resonates with students.
